Introduction to IATF 16949
IATF 16949:2016 (replaces ISO/TS 16949:2009) is a standard that sets out the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS), specifically for the automotive sector. ISO/TS 16949 was originally created in 1999 to bring together different assessment and certification schemes worldwide in the supply chain for the automotive sector.
