1. Different composition
The China Rubber Coating Magnets usually are made of powerful neodymium disc magnets, steel cups and durable TPV rubber.
Normal Neodymium Cup Magnets usually consist of strong raw magnets and durable steel parts
2. Different internal design and structure
Rubber coated magnets are usually use several small neodymium disc magnets lined with N/S/N/S in the steel parts with rubber coated. The special magnetic circuit design ensure that we will get stronger force to be used in different industries.
Pot magnet or a round base cup magnet usually consists of a neodymium magnet and a galvanized steel cup. A piece of disc magnet is encased to the steel cup and we can achieve higher magnetic strength around the edge area of the steel casing. Rubber coating magnets normally show up in black, white, red, blue, yellow and more which can be used in more applications.

4. Different Performance
The steel pot magnets and rubber coated magnets work in the same way under normal temperature and environment. However, when we are in the water, oil, corrosive or any extreme cold and hot etc, like these extremely harsh environment, the normal steel pot magnets with metal coating will be easily rusted and peeled off while the rubber coated magnets are highly resistant of water, oil and corrosion environment.
