In wind turbine O&M, the failure of internal fastening systems is a critical safety concern. During past peak construction periods, high-strength shot nails were widely used for internal mounting. While these nails offer exceptional static strength, their rigid connection is vulnerable to the persistent turbulence and harmonic vibrations inherent in wind towers.
