Introduction of Magnetic Recess Former

The Magnetic Recess Formers are co-used with anchor from 1.3Ton to 10Ton. They are designed to make it easy when positioning spread anchors at requested place on the metal mold. We have developed the steel type magnetic former and rubber type recess former. Anchors come in various shapes, loads, so they need recess formers also in different types.

The steel magnetic former is made of metal and NdFeB magnet, which is not a simply combination but our engineer team’s optimized design. By changing the magnetic circuit of the Rare Earth Neodymium Magnet core, the whole magnetic recess former can produce a strong holding force from 50kgs up to 360Kgs, so that they can get firm fixation onto the mold table without any movement.

 

 

The rubber magnetic recess former is covered a rubber layer over the steel recess former. The rubber coating can protect the inside recess former from corrosion and prevent water collecting and consequently freezing in cold weather. By means of strong force NdFeB magnet, the rubber recess former also can be quickly installed in the steel formwork without drilling and welding.

Due to the various anchor in the market, so we have developed many kinds rubber recess formers to match the different anchors. So far, we have developed the hemispherical head for double head anchor, the spread magnetic recess former for flat anchor, the oval rubber recess former for utility lift anchor. We can provide the available color Black, yellow, blue, Red for special marking.

Magnetic Recess Former Applications:

With more and more people are using magnets fixation when fixing formwork. The wire box or any other accessories onto the mold table, to get firm fixation so that each article stays still in position and people get the precast part in the shape as they have expected.  By means of magnetic powerful force, there is no need for drilling holes so that the mold table could have a longer life. Simply put them where you need and take them away after the job is done, easy and fast. No complex set-ups and detach work and can facilitate your precast work greatly.

Anchor with rubber ring is insert into the hole of the former. Then we pour the concrete and wait until it is hardened.

When we remove the mold, these magnetic formers attached on the mold wall leaves also. Anchors remain where they were. These anchors are used to hang and move the pc part with special lifting devices.
